About Recruitment

Recruitment is a 2 week process where interested students can attend events in order to get to know the organization. During rush week, recruits recieve an application--to be submitted to the recruitment chair at a designated time--and time to interact with current and graduated members of Delta Kappa Alpha at SF State.
How to Join
​
Delta Kappa Alpha hosts informational meetings and activities at the beginning of each semester to foster connections between recruits and active members. These activities allow new recruits to voice any questions or concerns they may have. During this time DeKAs and recruits are encouraged to establish a professional and personal relationship with members and alumni.
At the end of the two week recruitment period interested students will submit applications. Selected recruits, those chosen to proceed as potential members, will then begin an 8 week pledge process.
