About Programming

​

From retreats and game nights to movie screenings and making promotional videos for non-profits, the Programming Department is a major part of the internal and external activities of the fraternity. This department includes the following committees:

 

The Philanthropy committee oversees DKA's contributions to the San Francisco  community through service and monetary donations. It also promotes the success of the SeriousFun Children’s Network, Delta Kappa Alpha's partner organization.

 

The Fundraising Committee’s goal is to gain funds for official Delta Kappa Alpha sponsored films and equipment by acquiring donations and working to earn money.

 

The Social Committee is designed to both offer an opportunity to practice being in professional social environments and to support outreach to other  organizations within our community.

 

The Fellowship Committee has the goal to strengthen fraternal bonds by offering many recreational events and activities, such as hikes and outdoor movie screenings. This committee also oversees the fraternity’s

semesterly retreat.

 

The Sunshine Committee is dedicated to improving moral and bringing to joy to every situation.

 

The Programming Department represents Delta Kappa Alpha's goals to further our professional, philanthropic, and personal relationships.
